I have been passing in front of Pizza East for a while now so I decided to take a friend there one day, after a shopping spree at Rough Trade (it will be a tough month!). I had been hearing that it was quite popular and being in the fashionable district of Shoreditch, right off the overground exit, I could see why. Well, good news is, it’s not only the location. Although it wasn’t the best pizza I have eaten, it was fairly good -very good in London standards. They didn’t have 20 different types of pizzas, rather a modest six or seven, which was a bit disappointing. The drinks menu is also quite limited. But the cool, industrial atmosphere makes up for it. The warehouse-y feeling is most welcome, since it also manages to be cozy. The waiters are friendly and easy on the eyes. Prices are fair. So it’s definitely a go!
